I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mercante, and my experience, particularly with a staff member named Paolo, was nothing short of upmost tremendous. He truly embodies exceptional restaurant service and went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect, blending efficiency with genuine hospitality. From the moment we were seated, staff was incredibly attentive, anticipating our needs without being intrusive. He demonstrated a deep understanding of the menu, offering insightful recommendations for both food and wine pairings, which elevated our dining experience significantly.Highly recommend on your journey throughout London .

The food here was truly great! Authentic Italian food that made us feel like we were back in Italy. The portion sizes are pretty big too! Very friendly staff and reasonable prices.

The food here was actually really good. The service was a little too β€œrelaxed” for us. In spite of making sure that the staff knew we were on a tight schedule, while the staff was friendly, they took their sweet time and sometimes came off a bit rude. They did apologize multiple times but ultimately when we were moved to the main hall for coffee and pastries this continued and we had to send back half our tea order as it took 30+ minutes for them to bring it and we all had to leave. Was expecting better

Had a Groupon voucher for lunch and bottomless Prosecco. Went on a sunny Sunday lunch time. We were given a window seat, which was perfect for people watching. Food was good, service good and enough Prosecco to enjoy the day. Followed by a lovely stroll through Green Park

We went for brunch and were served by the lovely Paolo and Irina. We had a lovely time even though the restaurant was not busy at all we still felt like it had a great atmosphere, particularly enjoyed the pianist in the lobby. Definitely recommend.

Loved this Italian restaurant, the linguine vongole was superb! Having lived 3 years in Rome, think to know how it should taste and it was on par. The decor of the restaurant is modern with Italian touches. Great place for lunch, ask for the lunch menu 2 course Β£15, 3 course Β£19 is very reasonable!
